Receiving Inspector (Quality Inspector
Pay: $22-28/hr DOE
Location: Role is on-site in Camarillo, CA
-Position Summary
The Receiving Inspector oversees all material receiving activities following company procedures. The role also supports RMA processing, customer production updates, and inventory tracking.
-Key Responsibilities
• Inspect incoming materials and components, especially in an AS9100 and electronics environment.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials; manage the MRB (Material Review Board) area.
• Use inspection tools (e.g., microscopes, calipers, gauges, Nikon video measurement system) and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Support ISO 9001 audits and prepare routine inspection reports.
• Enter and track materials in the ERP system.
• Perform other QA and administrative tasks as needed.
-Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years’ receiving inspection experience (preferably in electronics manufacturing).
• Strong knowledge of quality procedures, inspection methods, and inventory management.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and accurate data entry.
• Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to handle small parts.
• Good problem-solving, teamwork, and multitasking skills; able to stay calm under pressure.
• Must be fluent in English and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
