A local client looking We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support our commitment to delivering premium-quality products and exceptional customer satisfaction. In this role, you will perform incoming, in-process, first-piece, and final inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards. The Quality Control Technician will also be responsible for preparing and submitting First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has experience with quality inspection processes, measuring tools, engineering drawings, and quality management systems, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform incoming inspections and accurately receive parts into the warehouse using SAP Business One (SAP B1).
-Conduct first-piece, in-process, and outgoing inspections, including:
o Visual inspections
o Mechanical inspections
o Basic electrical checks
o Measurement verification
o Product labeling verification-Collaborate with fellow Quality Control Technicians to complete final inspections and close out job documentation.
-Identify, locate, and prioritize job bags according to production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
-Verify outgoing products meet all customer specifications and quality requirements.
-Ensure appropriate material certifications and supporting documentation accompany shipments.
-Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) through customer-specific portals as required.
-Investigate and troubleshoot quality-related issues using sound judgment and established procedures.
-Support corrective and preventive action activities and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
-Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation in accordance with company quality standards and ISO requirements.

Qualifications
Education & Certifications
-Associate Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
-ISO 9001 Certification preferred
Experience
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role required
-Experience using precision measuring tools required
-Experience reading and interpreting engineering and mechanical drawings required
-Experience in lean manufacturing environments preferred
-Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment preferred
-Familiarity with SAP Business One (SAP B1) or similar ERP systems is a plus

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
• Continually required to sit and/or stand during the workday.
