A local client is looking to hire a Quality Control Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to join a rewarding and growing organization. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
-Perform incoming inspections and accurately receive parts into inventory using SAP Business One (SAP B1).
-Conduct in-process and final inspections, including visual, mechanical, and basic electrical checks.
-Ensure products are properly measured, labeled, and meet all quality requirements.
-Collaborate with other Quality Control Technicians to complete final inspections and close out job documentation.
-Identify, organize, and prioritize job bags according to the production schedule.
Verify outgoing products meet customer specifications and include appropriate material certifications.
-Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) through customer-specific portals.
-Troubleshoot quality issues using sound judgment, escalating concerns when needed.
Qualifications
-Education & Certifications
-Associate degree in Engineering (preferred)
-ISO 9001 certification (preferred)
Experience
-Minimum of 2 years experience in a quality control or inspection role
-Proficiency using precision measuring tools (required)
-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (required)
-Experience in lean manufacturing environments (preferred)

-Proficiency with computers and standard office software
