Quality Control Supervisor

We are a rapidly growing and quality-driven food manufacturing organization seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented QC Supervisor to lead quality operations on the production floor. This is an opportunity for experienced professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about food safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

Lead, train, and develop QC Lab and Line Technicians across multiple production lines
Oversee and maintain food safety systems (HACCP, GMP, pre-requisites, sanitation programs)
Perform in-process, raw material, and finished goods inspections and testing
Partner with operations to drive corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
Ensure compliance with BRC/GFSI standards and regulatory requirements
Review and manage documentation, calibration logs, and quality records
Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend process improvements
Support audits and prepare documentation for regulatory/state inspections
Maintain lab equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
Act as a key communication bridge between QC and operations teams


What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
3+ years of QC/QA supervisory experience in food manufacturing (required)
Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, allergens, SOPs, and food safety systems
Experience with BRC or other GFSI audits (required)
Direct experience with batch-formulated products such as:

Salsas, sauces, soups, chili, or tomato-based products


Bilingual: English & Spanish (required)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Proven ability to lead teams, analyze data, and drive quality improvements
Self-motivated with strong communication and problem-solving skills


Work Environment:

Active production setting with exposure to hot and cold environments
Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs
Work performed in close collaboration with production teams
