?? Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (occasional Saturdays as needed)

Are you an experienced quality professional with a background in aerospace and welding? We're seeking a Quality Control Specialist to lead quality initiatives at our ITAR-regulated facility in Buena Park. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a proactive mindset.
You’ll be the key quality expert on-site—responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and AC7004 standards. While this position does not oversee direct reports, it requires full ownership of quality control processes and direct interaction with customers, auditors, and suppliers.
?? Responsibilities:
Manage and execute all aspects of the site’s Quality Control processes
Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and AC7004 requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact for quality issues with customers
Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts to eliminate defects
Oversee internal audits, nonconforming product control, and disposition
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement Lean Principles
Support quality review of supplier materials and technical resolution of issues
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and enhance quality outcomes
Maintain and improve quality documentation, metrics, and reporting
Champion a culture of operational excellence and regulatory compliance
? Required Qualifications:
5+ years in Aerospace or related technical field
5+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience
Deep understanding of FAA regulations, AC7004 Quality Systems
Knowledge of Nadcap, AMS2681B, AMS2680C, AWS D17 specs (welding background a huge plus)
Strong problem-solving skills and data analysis capabilities
Excellent communication skills and experience working with customers and suppliers
Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR compliance requirements
