Job Summary

A Quality Control Inspector opportunity is available in Camarillo, CA within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The Quality Control Inspector will inspect incoming materials, first article parts, in-process product, and final product to ensure compliance with internal quality standards, SOPs, GMP requirements, and applicable regulatory expectations. Key Responsibilities

- Perform quality inspections and testing on incoming product, first articles, in-process materials, final product, and gamma irradiation-related product stages.
- Initiate and document nonconformance reports for non-conforming materials or process findings.
- Review, complete, and release inspection records, job order documents, and related quality documentation in compliance with SOPs and good documentation practices.
- Support cross-functional investigations related to nonconformance findings, corrective actions, and process improvements.
- Approve or reject raw materials based on quality standards and communicate inspection results to appropriate internal teams.
- Maintain compliance with safety requirements and wear required PPE when working in ISO-controlled environments.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $24 per hour.
- Location: Camarillo, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Conduct inspections across incoming, first article, in-process, final, and gamma irradiation-related product stages.
- Initiate NCRs, document observations, and support investigations related to nonconforming materials.
- Review and release job order documents and maintain accurate inspection records.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and support compliance with quality and safety standards.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of quality control inspection experience required.
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of GMP operations, detailed SOPs, and good documentation practices.
- Working knowledge of applicable quality and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211, and/or 21 CFR Part 820.
- At least 1 year of experience with technical documentation related to quality inspections, manufacturing quality, or corrective actions.
- Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, tape measures, rulers, and pin gauges.
- Good general mathematical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with quality or manufacturing documentation systems.
- Ability to wear required PPE in an ISO environment, including scrubs, coverall suit, mask, protective eyewear, gloves, shoe covers, and similar protective equipment.
- Strong organizational, planning, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a strong commitment to quality, integrity, sound judgment, and process compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Syteline.
- Experience supporting quality metrics reporting for a QC Supervisor or Lead.
- Prior experience in ISO-controlled production environments.
- Familiarity with cross-functional quality investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
