The ideal candidate will have extensive experience testing APIs and finished dosage products, performing chromatography (HPLC/GC), and applying rigorous analytical techniques in compliance with GMP standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform analytical testing on incoming, in-process, raw materials, final products, and stability samples using balances, pipettes, pH meters, UV/Vis spectrophotometers, Total Organic Carbon analyzers, and other QC equipment.
Perform chromatography (HPLC/GC) following qualification and training protocols.
Conduct wet chemistry assays and regularly perform water sample collection.
Assist in QC analytical instrument maintenance and calibration.
Perform general laboratory equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and prepare the lab for audits.
Review QC data and provide summaries to management.
Assist in OOS, deviation, and CAPA investigations as needed.
Serve as backup for QC sample receipt, testing, processing, shipment, and tracking.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field.
5+ years of pharmaceutical QC experience with APIs and finished dosage forms.
Working knowledge of GC and HPLC required; experience with balances, pipettes, UV/Vis, TOC analyzers, and other QC lab equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals, and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and instrument manufacturer software.
Knowledge of FDA GMPs (21 CFR parts 211, 820, 600), ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 is a plus.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Regularly required to stand, walk, or sit; use hands and fingers; talk or hear.
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
Often required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
