Position Summary
This position is responsible for evaluating and maintaining supplier quality standards, managing procurement activities, and collaborating across departments to ensure compliance with internal and
external requirements.

Essential Job Functions:
Quality Assurance
• Overseeing the complete manufacturing process from receiving inspection through order fulfillment
• Work closely with Engineering and Production to ensure delivery of high quality, reliable products on
schedule and within budget.
• Critical review of assembly procedures and acceptance test procedures
• Root Cause and Corrective Action process
• Interact with internal fabrication and assembly resources as well as outside vendors supplying
fabricated parts, off the shelf components and completed assemblies
• Participate in the testing of products and improve the production flow, as needed
• Ability to work on multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of electronics, mechanical systems and production processes
• Create and write SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
• In-line QA Processes
• Ability to function as a critical team member
Strategic Procurement Specialist
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.
• Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, damaged goods, or incorrect orders.
• Maintain vendor relationships
• Other duties as assigned

Experience and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
4+ years Quality Control Experience
2+ years Manufacturing Experience
2+ years in purchasing experience\

Requirements
Clear oral and written communications
Understanding of basic tools and QA Fixtures
Strong technical knowledge and “hands on” skills
Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings
Ability to work independently and in teams
Strong time management and organizational skills
Organized, detail oriented, and maintains accurate records
Proficient in Microsoft office

Physical Demand
Ability to stand, walk, bend 50% of the time
Ability to remain stationary 50% of the time
Ability to lift max 25 lbs
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, keyboard, copier, printer, tablet, camera, and phone
Ability to communicate with department managers, staff and outside vendors. Must be able to communicate accurate information.
Ability to make repetitive movements of the wrists, hands, and or fingers.
50%Working in a warehouse setting, fluorescent lighting, no A/C or Central Heating.
50% Working in an office setting, fluorescent lighting, AC/ Central Heating.
Noise levels are moderate
