We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester for a contract/temporary opportunity in Reno, NV. This role is ideal for candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or quality inspection who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in helping ensure products meet required standards.
The Quality Assurance Tester will support a fast-paced manufacturing environment by inspecting, testing, and verifying products during production and assembly processes. Candidates can expect a quality-focused workplace where teamwork, clear procedures, and supportive leadership help employees perform with confidence and continue building valuable manufacturing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products, components, and assemblies to confirm quality standards and specifications are met.
- Perform basic quality tests, visual inspections, and functional checks according to established procedures.
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or production issues and report findings to the appropriate team members.
- Document inspection results, test outcomes, and nonconforming materials accurately.
- Support production and assembly teams by helping maintain quality, consistency, and process compliance.
- Follow safety, cleanliness, and quality control procedures throughout the workday.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $19 to $21 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.

- 1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality inspection, manufacturing, production, assembly, or a related environment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, quality standards, and production procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects or inconsistencies.
- Basic documentation and recordkeeping skills.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing, production, or assembly line setting.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an assembly or assembly line environment.
- Familiarity with basic measuring tools, quality checklists, or inspection documentation.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement, defect reporting, or production quality processes.
