Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester for a temp-to-hire manufacturing opportunity in Reno, NV. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented production or assembly professional with experience testing machine functions, identifying defects, and supporting quality compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment.
As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring finished machines and sub-assemblies operate accurately, meet quality standards, and comply with applicable gaming industry requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing on machines and sub-assemblies to verify accurate operation, product quality, compatibility, and compliance.
- Test multiple products.
- Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, execute appropriate fixes, and document discrepancies clearly and accurately.
- Maintain expected production output while following established testing, quality, and regulatory procedures.
- Support training and follow-up for new and existing employees to promote consistent quality standards.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and management teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $20 to $21 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform functional testing of machines and sub-assemblies in a manufacturing production environment.
- Troubleshoot defects, document discrepancies, and complete appropriate fixes to support product quality.
- Use small hand tools, testing materials, and production equipment to verify machine functionality.
- Support employee training and communicate quality expectations in one-on-one and small group settings.
- High school diploma required, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience with manufacturing assembly processes.
- Intermediate math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, count, and measure accurately.
- Ability to use small hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attendance record and ability to stand for a full shift.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and work overtime as required.
- Ability to effectively present information to employees and management.
- Strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, personal accountability, and drive for results.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships and contribute to a positive team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous quality assurance testing experience in gaming, electronics, machine assembly, or regulated manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, materials management, and production documentation.
- Experience training or mentoring employees in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
