An immediate need to hire a highly skilled Quality Technician with strong technical writing and reading abilities to generate accurate traveler work instructions—critical documents that guide products through each step of the manufacturing process. This role requires the ability to interpret schematic and blueprint designs, perform inspections, verify material compliance, conduct measurements and counts, review documentation, and execute part buy-offs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in quality assurance, and capable of working independently in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Inspection
-Perform visual inspections to verify quantities, assess cosmetic and dimensional accuracy, and check for defects.
-Verification
-Confirm material compliance with engineering prints, specifications, purchase orders, and all internal quality standards.
-Documentation
-Execute digital data entry for cleaning specification standards based on customer schematics and blueprint reviews.
-Generate detailed traveler work instructions supporting first-pass yield (FPY) requirements.
Test Reports
-Authenticate and certify test reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
-Material Handling
-Stage, tag, and release accepted materials to the next phase of production.
-Communication
-Communicate inspection findings clearly through internal email channels.
-Follow written and verbal instructions thoroughly and accurately.
-Required Skills & Experience
-Associate’s degree or minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
-Strong command of the English language (reading, writing, and verbal).
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
-Exceptional attention to detail.
-Experience in manufacturing sectors such as semiconductor, medical, aerospace, automotive, or similar industries.
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic and blueprint designs.
-Strong documentation skills with experience generating FPY traveler work instructions.
-Professionalism, independence, and accountability in executing quality checkpoints and material buy-offs.
