General Job Duties:
• Operates under the guidance of the Quality Systems Manager.
• Communicates with Quality Systems Manager on receiving activities and Customer Returns.
• Communicates with the assigned Manager or Director on QA/QC activities.
• Performs receipt of customer returns and logs into appropriate inventory control programs.
• Performs leak tests of returns and processes disposals in accordance with Health Physics procedures.
• Handles all paperwork associated with returns, emails receipts of returns and disposals to customers.
• Supports the filing, organizing, and record keeping of all returns, disposals, and QA documentation.
• Performs inspections for accuracy and legibility of capsule engravings performed in-house or by outside vendors, as appropriate.
• Aids in conducting dimensional QC on components manufactured in-house or by outside vendors, as appropriate. • Qualifies suppliers for addition to EZIP Approved Suppliers List (ASL). • Maintains supplier qualifications – updating surveys, audits, certifications.
• Attends Material Review Board meetings to review supplier issues.
• Trained to be able to conduct Final QC on all EZIP product lines. Performs Final QC on all orders except those specified by the Quality Systems Manager (Burbank facility) or Radioassay Manager (Valencia facility).
• Responsible for issuing, processing, closing, and filing of NCRs.
• Conducts filing, organizing, and record keeping of all QC documentation.
• Travel required at various times to Burbank and Valencia facilities, and for supplier audits and training. • Performs other duties as required by management.
Requirements:
1. Minimum education (or substitute experience) required: Minimum of High School Diploma.
2. Minimum experience required: 2 years’ experience with quality control, receiving inspection, and/or Quality Assurance. One year’s experience with light documentation control such as filing, organization of paperwork, and inventory logs.
3. Experience in the following areas:
o Must be able to travel and work in Burbank and in Valencia.
o Excellent communication, verbal, and writing skills.
o Strong attention to detail.
o Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
o Able to perform Receiving Inspection.
o Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
o Excellent planning, organization, and flexibility to adjust to a rapidly changing environment.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
