Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance/Assembler for a contract/temporary opportunity in Reno, NV. This role supports the production and inspection of electronic gaming machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy, teamwork, and product quality are essential.
This is a swing shift position from 2:30 PM to 11 PM with overtime.
This is a strong opportunity for candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, assembly, or manufacturing who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing reliable, high-quality products. The work environment is collaborative, safety-focused, and supportive, with opportunities to build practical manufacturing and quality inspection experience while working alongside production, quality, and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate is dependable, quality-focused, comfortable following written procedures, and motivated to help identify and resolve product concerns before units reach customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on electronic gaming machines to verify compliance with specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and communicate defects, nonconforming materials, and quality concerns.
- Support basic troubleshooting efforts and assist manufacturing and engineering teams with root cause identification.
- Follow established inspection procedures, work instructions, documentation requirements, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inspection records related to defects, corrective actions, and quality findings.
- Provide inspection feedback to support continuous improvement and help reduce recurring quality issues.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range provided: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform quality assurance inspections on assembled electronic gaming machines.
- Document defects, inspection results, and nonconforming materials accurately.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause efforts with production and engineering teams.
- Follow manufacturing work instructions, quality procedures, and safety requirements.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality inspection, manufacturing, assembly, or a related production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and documentation standards.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production, quality, and engineering teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Dependable work habits and a proactive approach to identifying and reporting quality concerns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience inspecting electronic products, gaming machines, mechanical assemblies, or electro-mechanical components.
- Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, inspection checklists, defect tracking, or corrective action processes.
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or safety-focused production environment.
