Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst with strong FHA, VA, USDA, and supplemental foreclosure claims experience for a remote opportunity supporting mortgage insurance claims in a foreclosure and default servicing environment. This role is ideal for a claims quality professional who understands the full claims lifecycle and can help ensure accuracy, compliance, and readiness before submission.
The QA Analyst will work closely with claims processors, servicing teams, and leadership to identify errors, resolve discrepancies, improve workflows, and support high-quality claim filing. This position offers a remote work arrangement, equipment provided, a structured 40-hour work week, and the opportunity to join a collaborative financial services environment with supportive leadership, practical training, and a focus on accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pre-submission QA reviews of FHA, VA, USDA, and supplemental foreclosure claims.
- Validate claim components, including loan data, policy data, calculations, reconciliations, advances, recoverable balances, and supporting documentation.
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, and documentation issues before claim submission.
- Conduct internal QA audits and track findings, trends, and production results in internal systems.
- Collaborate with claims processors, servicing teams, and leadership to resolve issues and improve claims workflows.
- Support post-submission research related to missing documentation, agency inquiries, or claim accuracy concerns.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $52,000 per year for direct hire and $25/hr for temp
- Job type: Temp-to-hire and direct hire opportunities
- Remote opportunity with equipment provided.
- Full-time schedule, 40 hours per week.
- Work schedule is based on Eastern Standard Time, generally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility for other time zones.
- Training schedule to be determined, either on-the-job or through a more formal class structure.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform QA/QC reviews for FHA, VA, USDA, and supplemental foreclosure claims prior to filing.
- Reconcile advances and verify claim accuracy, completeness, and documentation readiness.
- Research and resolve claim discrepancies impacting filing quality and compliance.
- Track QA results, audit findings, workflow activity, and claim review outcomes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of experience in FHA, VA, USDA, and/or supplemental foreclosure claims QA/QC testing and/or filing.
- Prior QA Analyst experience with FHA Part B, CWCOT, and VA claims strongly preferred, or deep current experience processing these claims.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing practices, claims lifecycle requirements, foreclosure processes, and applicable agency guidelines.
- Ability to review claim calculations, reconciliations, advances, recoverable balances, and supporting documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies independently.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and deadline management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LPS/MSP Mortgage Servicing Platform.
- Prior quality assurance experience specifically supporting FHA Part B, CWCOT, and VA claims.
- Experience analyzing claim error trends and supporting training or process improvement initiatives.
