Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Lab Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Livermore, CA within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. This role is ideal for a quality control professional with hands-on laboratory experience in raw material testing, packaging component inspection, GMP documentation, and release processes.
The QC Lab Technician will support incoming material quality, laboratory compliance, ERP documentation, and coordination with purchasing, production, and receiving teams. Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspections, sampling, testing, and release activities for packaging components and raw materials according to approved specifications and procedures.
- Conduct physical and chemical testing of raw materials, including pH, specific gravity, refractive index, physical tests, and potency testing for active ingredients as required.
- Maintain accurate QC laboratory records, master samples, retain standards, raw material libraries, and documentation for retesting of expired chemical raw materials.
- Enter product and testing data into ERP systems and Excel spreadsheets while ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance.
- Support lab investigations related to deviations, non-conformances, out-of-specification results, and change control processes.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, perform instrument monitoring and calibration documentation, and ensure the lab remains clean, organized, GMP-compliant, and safety-focused.

- Pay range: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Skills/Qualifications:
•Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology or related disciplines is preferred.
•Associate degree with 3 Plus year of lab work experience required.
•Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
•PC literate in various databases.
