Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Inspector for a temp to hire, possibly a direct hire opportunity for the right candidate in Camarillo, CA.
The QA Inspector will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and play an important role in verifying product quality, identifying defects, supporting process improvements, and maintaining quality standards. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ISO STANDARDS.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect products, materials, and production output to verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Document, track, and communicate defects, nonconformances, corrective actions, and quality concerns.
- Support the development, revision, and verification of quality procedures, inspection methods, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, production, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
- Monitor production performance and recommend improvements to prevent quality issues and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and inspection documentation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $24 to $25 per hour.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Location: Camarillo, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform quality inspections in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Verify product quality against specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
- Document defects, track corrective actions, and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with QA leadership and production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Aerospace manufacturing background required.
- 2 to 4 years of related quality assurance, quality inspection, or manufacturing inspection experience required.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, inspection practices, and technical documentation.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply written procedures, standards, and technical information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- NetSuite experience or exposure preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, dependability, and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds and perform standard manufacturing environment physical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in a related technical, quality, engineering, or manufacturing field.
- Experience supporting quality systems, corrective actions, process improvement, or internal quality audits.
- Working knowledge of aerospace quality standards, inspection requirements, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production, assembly, or custom manufacturing environment.
