Purchasing / Office Clerk (Weekend Required)

Wilmington, CA | $19/hr | Full-Time | Entry-Level

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing / Office Clerk to support administrative, clerical, and purchasing operations. This entry-level purchasing support role focuses on data entry, order tracking, vendor communication, and administrative support.
Saturday and Sunday availability is required, with weekday time off provided. This is a support role and not a senior or strategic procurement position.

Job Duties

Enter and maintain purchase orders (POs), product data, and vendor records
Perform accurate data entry in internal purchasing systems
Track order confirmations, deliveries, shipments, and backorders
Conduct vendor follow-ups regarding order status, delays, or discrepancies
Match purchase orders to invoices and assist with basic reconciliation
Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and accounting teams
Create basic Excel reports and logs
Order office supplies and assist with general services purchasing
Provide clerical and administrative support as needed

Schedule

Full-time hours
Saturday & Sunday required
Weekday time off provided

Qualifications

1+ year experience in office administration, clerical work, purchasing support, or data entry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple routine tasks in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with vendor communication and internal coordination
High School diploma or GED required
Experience in automotive, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or supply chain environments is a plus

Physical Requirements

Primarily sedentary office work
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
