What You’ll Do
As the Purchasing Supervisor, you’ll oversee critical functions that keep the operation running seamlessly:
Warehouse & Inventory Management
Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and inventory movement
Ensure accurate inventory tracking and reporting using
established systems
Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and resolve discrepancies
Maintain proper storage conditions and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards
Purchasing & Supply Management
Manage purchasing of raw materials and packaging supplies to support production schedules
Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent disruptions or overstocking
Collaborate with vendors to manage lead times, pricing, and delivery performance
Monitor usage trends and forecast purchasing needs
Leadership & Collaboration
Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing performance feedback
Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality Assurance, Transportation, and Finance teams
Drive process improvements for inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and purchasing controls
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in warehouse supervision, inventory control, or purchasing (manufacturing
or food industry preferred)
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations
Experience managing packaging or raw material supplies
Proficiency with inventory systems, ERP/MRP software, and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in food manufacturing or refrigerated warehouse environments
Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and regulatory compliance
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
