Purchasing Manager – Construction / Industrial
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities for our construction/industrial operations. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices while ensuring quality and timely delivery to support project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage procurement strategies for construction materials, tools, and services
Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements for upcoming projects
Ensure compliance with company policies, contract terms, and industry regulations
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align purchasing with operational needs
Track purchasing KPIs, analyze costs, and identify opportunities for savings
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a senior procurement role within construction or industrial sectors
Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
Knowledge of construction materials, supply chains, and market trends
Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
