We are seeking a Purchasing Clerk responsible for managing purchase orders and supporting supplier relations to ensure an efficient and continuous supply of products essential to company operations.
Key Responsibilities
Enter data into the system and generate required inventory purchase orders.
Monitor and update purchase order status and related information.
Ensure supply lines are restored promptly to meet company needs.
Create local and international purchase orders based on inventory analysis and minimum order requirements.
Process emergency and air orders for sales requests.
Coordinate material purchases for all company warehouses.
Prepare, review, and track purchase orders and price changes.
Monitor inventory levels weekly and ensure adequate stock.
Manage special orders, direct shipments, and annual product returns.
Assist with warehouse transfers, inventory verification, and supplier-requested order updates.
Support the Receiving Department with material identification as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in Purchasing and/or Logistics.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
Positive, friendly attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple projects.
Team-oriented with strong time-management skills.
Proficient in MS Office; bilingual (Spanish/English); comfortable learning new systems.
