Purchasing Coordinator
Location: San Juan
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator responsible for managing the procurement of inventory to ensure uninterrupted operational supply. This role involves vendor communication, purchase order management, inventory analysis, and system updates within Acumatica.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process approved purchase requisitions.
Create and track purchase orders based on customer demand and inventory levels.
Monitor and update delivery timelines; communicate delays or changes.
Maintain accurate item records (descriptions, costs, pricing).
Conduct landed cost analysis and forecast purchases.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues (pricing, delivery, quality).
Support administrative tasks and departmental operations.
Requirements:
Associate degree in Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and urgency.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic inventory techniques.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to multitask and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Experience with Acumatica or similar ERP systems.
