A local client is looking to hire a Purchasing Clerk to join their office. This is an established organization who has been in business for over 30 years servicing their community. In this role you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
-Create all PO’s in QuickBooks system. (Once item/s has been verified for best pricing throughout vendor list).
-Create and maintain “Order Tracking” excel spreadsheet.
-Update PO’s in QuickBooks and Order Tracking spreadsheet with material ETAs.
-Daily update the Master Calendar (Google calendar) with status of delivery orders on cabs & flooring.
-Follow up & confirm item ETA’s, typically a day or two before the delivery is due.
-Get all PO’s approved thru email approval process, for ready to order.
-Place vendor orders via online, by email or phone.
-Contact/call supplier and confirm items are ready for pick-up (typically the day before and morning of).
-Schedule appropriate person to pick up materials that are ready for W/C making sure times do not conflict with already scheduled meetings/events.
Respond to emails and client email, data entry
-Maintain/update pricing on all items for Sales Team on Excel spreadsheet
-Create new MSRP pricing for vendor cost in excel workbook.
