We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchaser / Vendor Manager to oversee purchasing activities and manage supplier relationships critical to our manufacturing success.

?? What You’ll Do

Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with production needs

Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery performance

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost efficiency

Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships

Analyze inventory levels and forecast material requirements

Process purchase orders and maintain accurate ERP/Accounting records (QuickBooks Enterprise a plus)

Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure materials meet specifications

Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing processes

Resolve supplier discrepancies and issues promptly

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

?? What We’re Looking For

3–5 years of purchasing and/or vendor management experience

Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred

Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills

Proficiency with ERP systems (QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus)

Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Knowledge of metal processing, machining, or industrial manufacturing preferred

Familiarity with ISO or quality management systems is a plus
