The Property Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial buildings, including preventive maintenance, tenant support, vendor coordination, and budget oversight. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable troubleshooting building systems, and able to balance time in the field with administrative responsibilities.

Key responsibilities
Perform and coordinate routine and preventive maintenance, including basic electrical work, lighting, HVAC support coordination, and general repairs.
Conduct regular property inspections to identify issues related to safety, cleanliness, and functionality, and implement corrective actions.
Respond to tenant service requests in a timely, professional manner and manage expectations throughout issue resolution.
Oversee third-party vendors and contractors, including scheduling, scope review, quality checks, and invoice approval.
Assist with operating budgets, tracking expenses, and recommending cost-effective maintenance solutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, warranties, and compliance-related documentation.


Required experience and skills
Proven experience as a Property Manager, Building Engineer, or Maintenance Supervisor in commercial properties.
Must have hands-on electrical and maintenance experience (e.g., lighting, breakers, motors, basic wiring, troubleshooting building systems).
Working knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical) and safety practices.
Strong communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and ownership.
Solid organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple properties and competing demands.

Nice-to-have qualifications
Experience with commercial property management software and work order systems.
Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and inspection requirements.
Certifications or licenses in electrical, facilities maintenance, or related trades are a plus.
