Property Manager Assistant (HUD)
100% on site Greenville, South Carolina

What You’ll Do
* Assist the Property Manager in day-to-day operations of HUD-subsidized housing properties
* Help manage tenant applications, renewals, and eligibility requirements for HUD programs
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with HUD regulations
* Handle tenant inquiries and provide excellent customer service
* Process lease agreements, payments, and ensure accurate record-keeping
* Assist with rent collections, notices, and compliance documentation
* Maintain tenant files and ensure all required documentation is up to date and complete
* Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely property upkeep and repairs
* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to ensure regulatory compliance

What We’re Looking For
* 1-3 years of property management experience (HUD experience is a plus)
* Strong understanding of HUD regulations and fair housing laws
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* High level of organization and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, etc.)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Positive, solution-oriented attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service to residents
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
