We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Tax Credit and HUD properties, along with proven experience handling occupancy and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our multifamily properties while ensuring excellent service to residents and meeting financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Operations: Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, budgeting, and vendor management.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), HUD, and other affordable housing programs. Prepare and maintain necessary documentation and reports for tax credit and HUD compliance.

Tenant Relations: Foster positive relationships with tenants by addressing concerns and providing outstanding customer service.

Occupancy Management: Maintain high occupancy levels through effective leasing, marketing, and timely lease renewals. Monitor and manage tenant eligibility for affordable housing programs.

Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage property budgets, ensuring financial goals are met, and expenses are kept within budget. Analyze financial reports, including rent rolls, budgets, and variances.

Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate maintenance schedules and work orders to ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and in good condition.

Staff Supervision: Supervise and train on-site staff, including leasing agents, maintenance teams, and other personnel, ensuring the team is performing to the highest standards.

Marketing and Leasing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and maintain strong occupancy rates. Process applications, conduct interviews, and handle lease signings.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role managing Tax Credit, HUD, and affordable housing properties.

In-depth knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, and occupancy regulations, and experience managing affordable housing properties.

Strong understanding of leasing, tenant relations, property maintenance, and financial reporting.

Proven ability to meet and exceed occupancy and budget goals.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, OneSite, etc.).

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree in a related field is preferred.

Certifications such as Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) are a plus.
