About the Opportunity
A well-established, major insurance carrier in Bossier City is seeking a dependable Administrative Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support Personal & Commercial Lines (P&C) operations. This role is ideal for someone already holding a Property & Casualty insurance license or an individual motivated to obtain their P&C license with company support and guidance. This is a stable, long-term position in a professional office environment with consistent hours and growth potential in the insurance industry.
Job Summary
The Administrative CSR will serve as a primary point of contact for policyholders, providing administrative and customer service support for Property & Casualty insurance products. Responsibilities include handling policy changes, assisting with new and renewal business, processing documentation, and supporting agents with day-to-day servicing needs while delivering excellent customer care.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding policies, billing, coverage, and endorsements
Assist with policy issuance, renewals, cancellations, and basic coverage updates
Process insurance documents accurately, including applications, endorsements, certificates, and binders
Maintain and update client records in agency management systems
Coordinate with agents, underwriters, and carriers to obtain and relay policy information
Provide follow-up with customers to ensure timely completion of required documentation
Support compliance with insurance regulations and internal procedures
Deliver professional, courteous service to both internal teams and external clients
Qualifications
Active Louisiana Property & Casualty license OR strong interest and willingness to obtain license
Prior experience in administrative support, customer service, or office environments preferred
Previous insurance experience is a plus but not required for motivated entry-level candidates
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
High attention to detail and ability to manage paperwork accurately
Proficient with computers, data entry, and standard office software
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently in a structured setting
