A professional commercial property management team in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an experienced Property Administrator for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a highly organized administrative professional with hands-on Yardi experience and a strong background supporting tenants, vendors, invoices, work orders, contracts, and property operations.
The Property Administrator will serve as a key point of contact for tenants, guests, vendors, and internal team members while helping keep day-to-day property operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the front desk point of contact for tenants, guests, vendors, and visitors while providing professional customer service.
- Manage tenant communications, incoming calls, emails, mail distribution, office supplies, and general office organization.
- Organize, dispatch, track, and respond to work orders through the property work order system.
- Scan, code, and process invoices in Yardi according to property budgets, including bill-back charges and tenant change forms.
- Assist with vendor service contracts, amendments, signatures, insurance certificates, compliance tracking, and vendor file maintenance.
- Support tenant relations programs, newsletters, amenity access requests, utility tracking, Energy Star Portfolio Manager updates, and new tenant property information books.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work Arrangement: 100% onsite.
- Location: Los Angeles, CA.
- Manage daily property administration, front desk support, tenant communications, and vendor coordination.
- Process invoices, bill-backs, tenant forms, and property documentation using Yardi.
- Coordinate work orders, vendor contracts, COI compliance, property files, and tenant support requests.
- Support utility tracking, tenant relations activities, office operations, and property management reporting.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative, property management, or commercial real estate support experience.
- Previous experience in property management, preferably commercial property management.
- Hands-on Yardi experience is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and document organization.
- Professional, friendly, customer-service oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tenants, vendors, contractors, insurance agents, and internal requests.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative property management team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Canva experience is a strong plus.
- Notary certification is a strong plus.
- Experience reviewing insurance certificates and supporting vendor compliance.
- Experience using Energy Star Portfolio Manager.
- Commercial real estate or commercial property management experience.
