A commercial property management company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Property Accounting Associate to support their day-to-day accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in structured systems, and wants to grow within a collaborative accounting and property management environment.
In this role, you will support full-cycle property accounting functions including AP/AR processing, tenant ledger maintenance, reconciliations, cash activity tracking, and monthly close preparation. A major focus of this position is maintaining accurate financial data and workflows within RAAMP, ensuring clean and reliable reporting across the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and journal entries
• Maintain tenant ledgers and assist with lease-related billing support
• Prepare reconciliations and monthly reporting packages
• Support lender reporting, audits, budgeting, and year-end accounting processes
• Communicate with Property Managers regarding invoices, tenant payments, and documentation
• Ensure accurate GL coding and adherence to standardized accounting procedures
• Identify workflow gaps, data inconsistencies, and system issues within RAAMP
Qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Accounting, bookkeeping, or property accounting experience
• Comfortable working within accounting systems and handling large amounts of data
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with commercial real estate accounting is a plus
• RAAMP experience is highly preferred but not required
