Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Property Accountant to manage financial operations across a portfolio of multiple commercial-style properties, such as senior living communities, healthcare facilities, or similar environments. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling multiple entities, thrives on accuracy, and understands the nuances of property-level financial reporting outside of traditional multifamily housing.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee accounting for a portfolio of multiple properties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and reconciliations
Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, and month-end close processes
Partner with operations teams at each location to support budgeting and financial performance
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and process improvements

Qualifications

3+ years of property or multi-entity accounting experience
Experience supporting multiple locations (e.g., senior living, healthcare facilities, commercial portfolios, or similar)
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
