Project Support Specialist - Downtown LA
Will provide administrative and operational support for the school district Commercial Direct Install Program. This role ensures smooth project flow—from customer engagement to installation completion—by coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with strong communication skills and an interest in energy efficiency. Support program operations through data entry, scheduling, and documentation management.
Assist Energy Service Representatives and Field Coordinators with project setup and tracking.
Perform quality control checks on project files before client submission.
Verify customer eligibility and coordinate appointments.
Track project progress, material status, and contractor performance.
Communicate project updates, delays, and changes to contractors and customers.
Reconcile contractor invoices and follow up on material returns (RMA).
Generate weekly reports and ensure KPI compliance.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email to ensure a positive experience.
Maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
2+ years of experience in administrative, project coordination, or customer service roles (energy or construction experience a plus).
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Bilingual skills a plus.
Knowledge of lighting or energy efficiency programs preferred.
