Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler for a direct hire, on-site opportunity in Miami, FL, supporting large-scale commercial construction projects across Florida and the Caribbean. This role is ideal for a construction scheduling professional who enjoys complex project environments, critical path planning, field coordination, and working closely with project leadership to keep high-value developments on track.
The Project Scheduler will join a collaborative construction team supporting projects in sectors such as hospitality, aviation, healthcare, mixed-use, infrastructure, commercial, and residential development. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed baseline and progress schedules from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Build Work Breakdown Structures, define project activities, establish sequencing, and create logic-driven CPM schedules.
- Monitor project progress through schedule updates, site visits, critical path analysis, and schedule variance reporting.
- Identify scheduling risks, constraints, and delays, then recommend recovery schedules and mitigation strategies.
- Perform Time Impact Analyses related to change orders, scope modifications, and potential project delays.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, field operations, subcontractors, and clients to align project timelines, resources, and construction sequencing.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $150,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Primary duties and projects include:
- Develop and manage construction schedules for commercial projects using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Monitor project timelines, critical path activities, schedule risks, and progress updates.
- Support project teams with recovery planning, Time Impact Analyses, and schedule-related decision-making.
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, estimators, subcontractors, and clients across all project phases.
Required qualifications and skills:
- 3 to 7+ years of construction scheduling or project controls experience.
- Experience supporting commercial construction projects, preferably in the U.S., South Florida, or Caribbean markets.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, WBS development, sequencing, resource loading, and schedule narratives.
- Ability to conduct site visits, evaluate construction progress, and communicate schedule status clearly.
- Experience with commercial, infrastructure, hospitality, aviation, healthcare, mixed-use, or residential construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL and collaborate effectively with office and field teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale commercial construction projects in Florida or the Caribbean.
- Background supporting hospitality, aviation, healthcare, mixed-use, infrastructure, or complex development projects.
- Experience developing site logistics plans and Maintenance of Traffic plans in 2D or 3D formats.
- Knowledge of construction means and methods needed to support schedule planning and execution.
