Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior-level Business Execution Consultant to support complex initiatives within the Payment Center Of Excellence with Leading Financial Services Company in Charlotte, NC. This senior-level role supports complex business execution, strategic planning, and implementation initiatives within the financial services industry.
The Senior Business Consultant will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to develop solutions, support decision-making, and drive execution across multiple business areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, consultative professional who enjoys connecting big-picture planning with hands-on delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Support complex strategic initiatives across multiple business areas and stakeholder groups.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop recommendations, presentations, roadmaps, and decision-support materials.
- Drive business execution activities, including planning, tracking progress, identifying risks, and supporting implementation.
- Analyze business challenges, connect cross-functional priorities, and help develop actionable solutions.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly to executive audiences, business partners, and project teams.
- Navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and organizational complexity while keeping initiatives moving forward.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $80.00 to $83.84 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Duration: 6 to 9 month contract with strong potential for conversion.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
- Location: Charlotte, NC 28262.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- 7+ years of experience in business execution, implementation, strategic planning, or a closely related business consulting role.
- Experience working in complex, multi-level organizations.
- Strong ability to support decision-making in complex and ambiguous business situations.
- Demonstrated ability to work across teams, functions, and business areas.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for senior leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Consultative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Hands-on execution skills with the ability to move initiatives from planning through delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous consulting experience.
- Financial services industry experience.
- Payments experience strongly preferred.
- Experience managing multiple products, programs, or strategic initiatives.
- Experience developing multi-year strategies.
- Experience creating executive-level presentations and strategic materials.
- Experience working directly with senior leaders.
- Experience supporting execution through roadmaps, milestone tracking, and progress reporting.
