The Role:
You’ll take ownership of complex construction projects, from early planning to final close-out. Your leadership will drive on-time, on-budget completion of projects in strict alignment with federal guidelines. You’ll interact with a broad range of stakeholders—from subcontractors to federal agency reps—and play a key part in keeping projects running smoothly and safely.
What You'll Do:
Oversee project performance, budget, and schedule from start to finish
Serve as the primary liaison between the contractor, subcontractors, suppliers, and federal agencies
Ensure full compliance with federal construction standards and specifications (VA, USACE, BLM, NAVFAC, etc.)
Coordinate internal team efforts across operations, contracts, and finance
Lead and motivate crews and third-party vendors to achieve project goals
Monitor safety standards and maintain regulatory compliance at every stage
Manage project documentation and reporting via Microsoft 365, Procore, and RMS
Facilitate inspections, ensure quality assurance, and support permit and code compliance
Qualifications:
5+ years of construction project management experience in federal contracting
Experience with civil projects and tenant improvements
Familiarity working with agencies such as USACE, VA, BLM, NAVFAC, and National Parks
Strong command of Procore, Microsoft 365, and USACE RMS
Proven track record managing multi-phase construction workflows
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Valid CA Driver’s License and ability to drive a company vehicle
Preferred Extras:
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
CPMP or related certification
OSHA 30 certification
Knowledge of LEED or sustainable construction practices
