We’re seeking a California-licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our growing team as a Survey Manager / Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have the drive to take ownership of their work and contribute to the firm’s long-term success, with opportunities for partnership in the near future. Full time, Monday-Friday, $150,000-$170,000 DOE. Located in Coastal North County San Diego, CA

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver diverse surveying projects from concept to completion

Manage and schedule office and field survey crews efficiently

Collaborate with clients, engineers, and internal teams to ensure precision and quality

Prepare and review boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys

Draft plats, legal descriptions, subdivision/parcel maps, and Records of Survey

Provide mentorship, leadership, and technical guidance to project teams

Perform QA/QC reviews on survey deliverables

Work cross-functionally with civil engineering and planning departments

Assist in developing project proposals, budgets, and schedules


Qualifications:

Licensed California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)

Proven leadership and project management experience in land surveying

Strong communication and client relationship skills

Highly organized, detail-driven, and self-motivated

Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Willing to relocate to San Diego County

Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in future partnership opportunities
