Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Ventura County, CA. This role is ideal for a proven electrical construction professional with the ability to lead complex commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, education, municipal, and public works projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple electrical construction projects from pre-construction planning through final closeout.
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, schedules, and project requirements to support successful execution.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, change orders, purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and overall financial performance.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, engineers, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Coordinate manpower planning, procurement, material deliveries, field operations, inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality control.
- Lead project meetings, support field leadership, mentor team members, and promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, education, municipal, and public works electrical construction projects.
- Lead project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, financial forecasts, and project execution strategies.
- Coordinate project meetings, client communication, field operations, change orders, and closeout documentation.
- Drive project profitability, on-time completion, safety compliance, quality workmanship, and client satisfaction.
- 8+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management experience.
- 6-10 years of related professional experience preferred based on role level.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, electrical codes, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, drawings, and project documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction or project management software.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, jobsite safety practices, quality control, inspections, testing, and commissioning processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead cross-functional teams, build client relationships, and maintain strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing public works, municipal, healthcare, education, institutional, or large-scale commercial electrical projects.
- Experience mentoring Project Engineers, Foremen, Superintendents, or field personnel.
- Strong vendor, subcontractor, and supplier relationship management experience.
- Demonstrated success improving project margins, labor productivity, change order recovery, and client satisfaction.
- Experience supporting repeat business through strong client service and professional project delivery.
