A local client is looking to hire a Project Manager to join their team. This opportunity will be great for someone who comes with a strong engineering background. You will get to support end to end project development. This role you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing processes to ensure high quality products are delivered on schedule, within scope, and at minimum cost.
The ideal candidate brings a systems integration mindset, project leadership capabilities, and the vision to build an efficient, scalable, and economical infrastructure for ongoing and future projects.
Key Responsibilities may include the following but not limited to:
Project Leadership & Coordination
-Coordinate internal resources and third party vendors for flawless execution of projects.
-Provide project and team leadership with a systems integration perspective.
-Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Project Planning & Execution
-Develop detailed project scopes and objectives with input from relevant stakeholders.
-Ensure technical feasibility throughout the project lifecycle.
-Oversee resource availability, allocation, and overall project readiness.
-Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Monitoring, Control & Quality
-Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress and milestones.
-Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.
-Measure project performance using suitable systems, tools, and techniques.
-Perform risk management to minimize project risks and ensure contingency plans.
Stakeholder Management
-Manage relationships with clients, internal teams, and third party vendors.
-Communicate project updates, challenges, and milestones with clarity and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
Education
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience
-3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
-3+ years of project management experience.
-A background as a practicing engineer prior to transitioning into project management is strongly preferred.
