Immediate need for a Project Manager – Mechanical Engineering.

We are seeking a driven Project Manager with a Mechanical Engineering background to lead cross-functional projects from concept through delivery. This role is ideal for someone who began their career as a practicing engineer and transitioned into project leadership, bringing both technical expertise and strong organizational skills.

In this role, you will coordinate teams, optimize processes, and ensure high-quality products are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will provide a systems-level perspective that helps build efficient, scalable, and cost-effective project infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

-Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution

-Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within budget

-Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders

-Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress and milestones

-Allocate resources and ensure availability throughout the project lifecycle

-Monitor project performance using appropriate tools, systems, and metrics

-Manage project changes including scope, schedule, and cost adjustments

-Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors

-Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies

-Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

-Provide leadership with a systems integration perspective to support scalable and efficient operations

-Analyze and optimize processes to improve product quality, delivery timelines, and cost efficiency

Project Manager Qualifications:

Education:

-Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Experience:

-3+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering

-3+ years of experience in Project Management

-Ideal candidate has experience as a hands-on engineer prior to moving into project management

Skills & Competencies

-Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills

-Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it effectively to different audiences

-Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

-Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently

-Comfortable working in fast-paced development environments with evolving priorities

-Solid understanding of product development and manufacturing processes

-Experience collaborating with operations, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing teams
