The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and experience preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates. This role requires reviewing project documents, collaborating with multiple internal teams, and ensuring all quotations align with company standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare Detailed Estimates
Analyze project plans, specifications, drawings, and related documentation to produce precise cost estimates for lighting projects.
Identify scope of work, required materials, labor requirements, and any special project conditions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with sales, design, and procurement teams to gather essential project data and verify complete, accurate quotations.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination
Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain material pricing, lead times, and product availability.
Ensure competitive pricing is factored into all estimates.
Data Review & Analysis
Review bid documents, drawings, and customer requirements to determine project feasibility and cost structure.
Perform cost analysis and strategic pricing assessments to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Documentation & Recordkeeping
Maintain detailed records of all bids and estimates, including cost breakdowns, specifications, assumptions, and revisions.
Track versions and maintain organized archives for future reference.
Client Interaction
Interface directly with clients to clarify project requirements, resolve questions, and ensure the quotation aligns with their expectations.
Industry Awareness
Stay current with lighting industry trends, new products, technology advancements, and market pricing conditions.
