What you'll do:
• Provide daily onsite support to the construction management team and project execution
• Monitor contract performance for cost, schedule, scope, and quality compliance
• Review and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and technical drawings
• Inspect construction progress to ensure adherence to safety and engineering standards
• Coordinate submittals, working drawings, and document control processes
• Maintain and update project schedules with construction managers or schedulers
• Track project costs, productivity, and financial data; support job cost control
• Review, approve, and submit progress billings and invoices
• Assist with change orders, claims, and other commercial project activities
• Support quality control procedures, audits, and compliance with contract requirements
• Prepare reports, meeting minutes, action logs, and executive presentations
• Assist with RFIs, NCRs, and project documentation management
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders on project deliverables
• Support materials and equipment tracking alongside logistics teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 3–5+ years of experience in construction or related industry
• Experience supporting large, complex industrial projects (power, heavy industrial, etc.)
• Knowledge of combined cycle or simple cycle power plant construction preferred
• General contracting experience highly preferred
• Understanding of multiple disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical)
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with teams and stakeholders
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound decisions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
