AppleOne is happy to partner with a company seeking an experienced Project Engineer with at least 5 years of experience managing construction or project operations in commercial, public, or educational facility environments. A bachelor’s degree in any field is required, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in school district or government projects.
This role demands an individual capable of thriving in construction management, adept at juggling multiple tasks, and maintaining professionalism in all interactions. You will collaborate regularly with vendors, senior management, and clients, often through virtual meetings. Integrity and effective communication are essential.
This position is fully onsite in Los Angeles, on a contract through January 2026, with potential for a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a key liaison among project stakeholders, including taking detailed meeting minutes and managing correspondence.
Maintain and organize project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Support project quality assurance and assist with invoice review and discrepancy resolution.
Coordinate closely with design teams to ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
Utilize MS Office extensively for documentation and communication.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project or construction management within commercial, public, or educational sectors.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience with school district/government projects and Division of State Architect (DSA) processes is a plus.
