Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in West Columbia, SC. This role supports residential and commercial construction projects by helping keep schedules, documentation, communication, and administrative workflows organized from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project documentation, schedules, files, reports, and administrative records for construction projects.
- Support project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients with timely communication and follow-up.
- Assist with tracking deadlines, project milestones, change orders, purchase orders, invoices, permits, and related paperwork.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure information is accurate, current, and accessible.
- Help prepare meeting notes, status updates, correspondence, and project-related reports.
- Identify administrative issues or missing information and help resolve them to keep projects moving forward.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $42,000 to $49,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Coordinate administrative support for residential and commercial construction projects.
- Track project documentation, schedules, deadlines, and communication.
- Support project managers and field teams with day-to-day project coordination.
- Maintain accurate records for project files, updates, and reporting.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative, project coordination, or construction support experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation and project information.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential, commercial, or office construction environments.
- Familiarity with construction documents, permits, change orders, purchase orders, invoices, or subcontractor coordination.
- Experience using project management, scheduling, document control, or construction administration software.
- Ability to anticipate project support needs and proactively follow up on open items.
