An established and growing general contracting firm delivering high-quality commercial and industrial construction projects is seeking a Senior Project Administrator with proven general contractor experience to support multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Position Summary
The Senior Project Administrator plays a critical role in supporting project managers and superintendents by managing project documentation, financial tracking, and administrative processes. This position requires strong construction knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-level administrative support to Project Managers and project teams

Manage and track subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project logs

Process invoices, pay applications, lien releases, and compliance documentation

Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes

Maintain accurate project records in project management systems (e.g., Procore, CMiC, Viewpoint, or similar)

Support project financial tracking, including budget updates and cost reporting

Assist with project closeout documentation, warranties, and turnover packages

Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely documentation and approvals

Qualifications

5+ years of project administration experience with a general contractor (required)

Strong understanding of construction project lifecycle and documentation

Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, CMiC, Viewpoint, etc.)

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting large-scale commercial construction projects

Familiarity with accounting and job cost processes

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field
