A local client in the construction industry is looking to hire a Project Administrator to join their team. This opportunity is key in supporting construction project teams by managing documentation, coordinating communication, and ensuring smooth project execution. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation Management: Maintain and organize project files, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and permits.
Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison for internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors; schedule meetings and site visits.
Scheduling & Tracking: Assist with project timelines, update schedules, and monitor procurement and delivery dates.
Contract & Financial Support: Prepare and track contracts, invoices, change orders, and assist with budget monitoring.
Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards; support audits and inspections.
Resource Management: Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to minimize delays.
Reporting: Prepare project status reports and communicate progress and risks to management.
Procurement Support: Assist with bid coordination, vendor evaluation, and subcontractor communication.


Qualifications

Education: High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a project administrative role within construction, preferably with a general contractor.
Skills:

Strong organizational and time management abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office
Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
