We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Accountant to support financial operations across multiple projects. This role is responsible for tracking project costs, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and track project budgets, costs, and revenue
Prepare and review project-related financial reports and forecasts
Analyze variances and provide recommendations to project managers
Manage project billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all projects
Partner with operations and project teams to improve financial performance

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of accounting experience (project accounting or construction experience preferred)
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (ERP systems a plus)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience
Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, or professional services
Familiarity with job costing and percentage-of-completion accounting
Experience with systems such as Deltek, Oracle, SAP, or similar
