The Project Accountant will support project costing, billing, invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting from project start to closeout. Key Responsibilities:
- Track project costs, expenses, invoices, purchase orders, commitments, change orders, retainage, and payments.
- Review and process vendor and subcontractor invoices while supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist with project billing, client invoicing, reconciliations, month-end closing, and project closeout activities.
- Monitor project budgets, identify cost variances, and help maintain accurate financial records and project documentation.
- Provide Project Managers with project cost reports, financial information, and support for billing and payment matters.
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve invoice, payment, and documentation questions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $14 to $16 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of accounting experience preferred, ideally in a construction, project accounting, or project-based environment.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting principles.
- Experience with project costing, billing, invoices, purchase orders, expense tracking, and financial recordkeeping.
