We are seeking a Project Accountant, in this role, you will be responsible for supporting both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, maintaining accurate project financial records, and communicating with vendors, subcontractors, and clients. You will play an essential role in ensuring timely and accurate financial documentation and payment processing for multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
Enter vendor invoices and subcontractor payments with accuracy and timeliness
Reconcile credit card transactions and maintain payment documentation
Assist in preparing client pay applications and billing packages
Communicate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors via phone and email
Maintain organized project financial files and assist with month-end processes
Support project teams by resolving discrepancies and verifying contract documentation
Assist with lien waivers, insurance certificates, and compliance documentation

Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including use of formulas), Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
Experience with Oracle NetSuite
Notary Public certification
Knowledge of lien waivers and construction pay applications
