Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Program Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a mission-driven nonprofit veteran services program in Dover, DE. This onsite role is ideal for a highly organized professional with experience in human services, nonprofit program coordination, case management support, or compliance-focused operations.
As the Program Coordinator, you will support high-quality service delivery by helping ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, effective data tracking, and smooth coordination across a busy team of Case Managers serving veterans each day. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine case file reviews to ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and coaching to Case Managers on documentation standards, file quality, and best practices.
- Monitor participant progress from intake through discharge to support consistent service delivery and successful program outcomes.
- Support data tracking, reporting, quality control, and internal approval processes in a grant-funded program environment.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to assist with service planning, operational coordination, and issue resolution.
- Identify trends, gaps, and process improvement opportunities to strengthen program operations and compliance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $30 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary, temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support quality assurance, documentation compliance, and operational coordination for a veteran services program.
- Review case files and monitor participant progress from intake through discharge.
- Coach Case Managers on documentation standards and case management best practices.
- Assist with program reporting, data tracking, financial request coordination, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Human Services, Nonprofit Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in community-based programs, nonprofit services, human services, or program coordination.
- Strong understanding of case management principles, documentation standards, and compliance in regulated environments.
- Proficiency with databases, Microsoft Office, and standard office systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service setting.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
- Self-starter who can serve as a reliable administrative and operational resource for program staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in grant-funded programs.
- Experience supporting veteran services, housing services, social services, or similar community-based programs.
- Prior experience participating in case conferences, quality assurance reviews, or compliance audits.
- Familiarity with financial request coordination, internal approvals, or nonprofit program reporting processes.
