Growing and Dynamic Non-Profit organization is looking to hire (10) Program Assistant Specialist's.

**Looking for people with previous experience working with families or individuals receiving subsidized or unsubsidized housing, childcare, education, job training or social services support.

**Previous non-profits, grants/fundraising, social services, child development, social justice, community-based organizations, or similar industries is preferred**

Duties:
•Answer incoming calls from calling queue and accurately gather information and documentation to assess client program eligibility for programs and services
•Accurately enter family data into the database and enroll families from the list onto the program based on state guidelines, as required
•Scheduling and calendaring for Zoom or in person meetings
•Manage client activities and changes of caseloads
•Schedule and conduct timely initial or recertification interviews to facilitate enrollment or continuation on the program
•Authorize individuals or families for services according to agency policies and timeline
•Update client information on the LA County database.
•Review and ensure proper documentation is provided
•Prepares forms, notices and correspondence regarding missing documentations, etc.
•Enter client information on internal database
•Make follow-up phone calls to providers regarding terminated parents
•Set up appointments for new enrollments/re-certifications and/or follow up on rescheduled appointments and no-shows
•Send letters to of documentation needed for re-certification
•Responsible for creating excel spreadsheets and data entry
•Provide excellent customer service to providers
•Review, track and file early education school applications
•Assist with provider payments and purchase as needed
•Handle mailing documents/letters, filing, handling of denied case files, and sort and distribute incoming mail

Requirements:
•Previous experience working with families or individuals receiving subsidized or unsubsidized housing, childcare, education, job training or social services support
•Minimum High School Diploma/GED required
•Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel

•Strong time management and organizational skills
•Excellent written and oral communications skills
•Excellent customer service skills and experience with a diverse client base
•Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
•Ability to apply program guidelines and follow procedures
•Ability to maintain confidentiality
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
