Looking for a : Program Assistant to provides complex administrative and program support, requiring knowledge of departmental procedures, HUD regulations, and tax credit compliance policies. This role supports management and staff with program coordination, compliance reporting, contracts, and budgeting. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in property management software and compliance systems are essential.
Provide administrative support to management and staff; act as liaison with tenants, property managers, agencies, and the public.
Assist with HUD programs, tax credit compliance, contracts, budgets, and grant administration.
Prepare compliance reports, correspondence, forms, and supporting documents with accuracy.
Process purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and legal or compliance documentation.
Track program deadlines, maintain compliance calendars, and monitor reporting requirements.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, trainings, and public hearings; prepare agendas and minutes.
Maintain record-keeping and tracking systems; ensure compliance accuracy.
Use property management software and compliance systems for data entry, validation, and reporting.
Coordinate activities across departments and with housing partners to support program goals.
Monitor office and program-related supplies and process vendor invoices.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Knowledge of:
HUD regulations, tax credit compliance policies, and housing program requirements.
Property management software, compliance systems, and modern office practices.
Data collection, report preparation, compliance tracking, and relevant regulations.
Business mathematics, English grammar/usage, and professional correspondence.
Effective customer service techniques for working with tenants, staff, and external partners.
Ability to:
Interpret and apply HUD and tax credit compliance policies.
Perform administrative and compliance support with accuracy and minimal supervision.
Organize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Compose correspondence and reports independently.
Communicate clearly and tactfully with diverse groups.
Build and maintain effective working relationships across teams and agencies.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; clerical or administrative training preferred.
Four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative or program support experience.
Experience with HUD housing programs, tax credit compliance, or property management strongly preferred.
Licenses
Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain by appointment).
